Photos are taken for many reasons, some may be taken as a creative outlet and simply as an art form, some may be for capturing important moments of their life to remember and some may be taken for news sources like newspapers. Personally, I take photos to make art, and to occasionally make money, however that should never get in the way of creativity when it comes to an art like photography. |

With new software, anyone can check if an image has been photoshopped, however most people don't and an image seen on social media or the internet, regardless of it's authenticity or 'purity', can not be trusted with one glance, this has been shown to be the case many times as fake news spreads alarmingly fast through social media using fake images.

Like every form of art, photography shares the same creative aspects however is used to capture a real moment in the world in a simple way or aglorified representation of the photographer's intentions behind taking the photo, which separates it from other arts which tend to be on the more creative side. |

If the intentions behind the photograph are malicious or if a photo of someone is taken after they have told the photographer they do not want any photos taken of them, or if it taken for illegal purposes.

Yes, however it is the only visual art which does not start off on a blank canvas, and instead is an copy of what the photographer was seeing, despite how edited or manipulated photos can be.

11. where is the best place to see photographs?
To me, the best place to see photographs is either in a gallery or the internet because I find they are the two 'places' you can see them in the highest definition possible, books are also good for viewing photos, however are not my personal preference. |

13. what confuses or frustrates you about photography?
It is frustrating how expensive photography gear is, of course gear doesn't determine skill or hinder your ability to create great art, however it does help with reliability and quality, I believe it is most important when shooting professionally, and for someone who aspires to turn their hobby or passion into a reliable job it is an extremely costly thing to get started with. |
